Welcome to Skills Academy for Health West Midlands
The Skills Academy for Health in the West Midlands works closely with the Regional Skills Network (RSN), which is a network of work-based education providers. The RSN will work with awarding bodies, training providers and healthcare organisations to tailor-make training courses to employer needs.
We are working hard to develop the uptake of apprenticeships in the region and currently provide support for work related learning opportunities for 14-19 year olds in Coventry, and the development of Health Tec’s in Birmingham, Wolverhampton and Tamworth.
The work the RSN does is guided by representatives of participating employer organisations, and these may include independent and voluntary sector providers.
