Your application form plays an important part in your selection. Your completed form is the only information we have for considering your suitability for the post. The following advice should help you to complete your application form as effectively as possible.
| Section 1 | Please complete all parts of the form. Incomplete forms could mean that your application is not processed. |

| Section 2 | Include all secondary schools and any colleges attended, for example Sixth Form college or Further Education. |
| Section 3 | List all the subjects you have studied, examinations you have taken and results if known. Estimated grades should be put in the appropriate box and also list any qualifications you are currently studying for. |
| Section 4 | List any certificates you have gained either from school or Further Education, or other training, First Aid/Duke of Edinburgh certificates, etc. Original qualification certificates will be required at interview. |
| Section 5 | Starting with your most recent employment, list all the employers you have worked for including casual labour and work experience. Evidence of caring for a family member, friend or neighbour may also support your application. |
| Section 6 | You will need to provide the names of two people who will be willing to give you a reference. Relatives or friends should not be given as referees. Referees should include current or most recent Head of Year or Line Manager. One of these referees should have known you for a minimum of 3 years. |
| Section 7 | This is probably the most important part of your application, as you have to make your case for selection here. Write in a concise, well organised and positive way. |
| Section 8 | Equal Opportunities. Please ensure you complete this section, as we are unable to accept your application without it. |
